Electrical & mechanical project management of Electric Dragline shutdowns in the Bowen basin managing from 60 to 160 men on BMA open cut coal mine sites. Predominantly 3–4-month shutdowns with contract values ranging from $25 Million to $54 Million.

COAL HANDLING preparation PLANTS (CHPP)

Managing mechanical maintenance teams and electrical construction teams at Xstrata, Anglo American & BMA coal mines undergoing significant upgrades such as a Debottlenecking process at Glencore Collinsville and pumping systems refits, conveyor replacements and general structural & electrical remedial works.

CAT 7495 ELECTRIC SHOVEL – BMA

Successful execution for the assembly & commissioning of a Cat 7495 electric shovel at BMA Daunia mine – delivered with no injuries, 5 weeks ahead of schedule and to the $30 Million budget. This involved: Planning, estimating, correlation of the cost budget, SMP, QMP deployment and resourcing plan for the execution of the shovel assembly.
