RENEWABLES PROJECT
Skills and achievements in renewables were project managing the construction contractors to implement functional practical completion at GE Renewable Coopers Gap wind farm (CGWF).
This EPCM project had a final construction phase which was demolition and reconstruction of WTG 10 turbine. This was completed and commissioned.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Managed the electrical & mechanical engineering staff to complete all outstanding wind farm engineering issues linked to Qld regulatory authority electrical guidelines
- Engaged the civil contractors to maintain all roads during wet season to AGL standards
- Designed multiple mechanical engineered solutions for turbine blade maintenance
- Management of the end user, AGL was a daily function and my operational experience was greatly appreciated by the senior AGL & GE renewables
- Management of site electrical and mechanical engineers to achieve Functional practical completion for GE renewables 123 Turbine wind farm, by aligning all design quality management systems with the main design and outputs
- Site interaction management of the land title holders who were operating active cattle farms in and around the wind farm at CGWF
